Lake Boga to Hattah-Kulkyne

It was hard to leave the view from bed but I had planned to move on to Hattah-Kulkyne National Park. I planned to drive via Goshen Reserve and Lyke Tyrell. Goshen Reserve is 20-30mins west of Lake Boga. There wasn't much opportunity for photographs but I did take photo of a hall that no longer appears to be used. Originally they had planned to setup Goshen as a town but it never eventuated.

I moved on and stopped in Sea Lake for some fuel. Then it was off to Lake Tyrell. One of my target birds was the Rufous Fieldwren and for the first time I managed to see one and take a photograph. Happy about that.

I also saw a Wedge-tailed Eagle perched in a dead tree. It was a little too far away and the haze did not help for photos. I drove along the western edge of the lake and enjoyed the contrasting colours of the land, the lake and the crops in the background.

Next stop Hattah-Kulkyne National Park.
